The romantic and gentle chanting of School of Mathematics and Statistics brought us the amazing and hazy scene of what depicted in the Book of Songs by the song Beyond the Stream. Their voices blended marvelously, as if the whole chorus had become a melancholy man gazing at an elegant woman alongside a stream.
The lively and cheerful Dance of Youth, interpreted by School of History and Culture, aroused the emotions of the audience. This song is adapted from folk songs of Xinjiang and has a very exotic style, which the chorus performed very well.
National Research Center of Cultural Industries brought us a very bright and upbeat song called Tong Tong Kui. Through their performance, we could feel Tujia people's open-minded, optimistic and industrious temperament and their love for life.
